Arrive Cochin
Arrive at Cochin International Airport where our representative welcomes you. Check into your heritage hotel in Fort Cochin. Afternoon explore Fort Cochin on foot: visit the ancient Chinese Fishing Nets (Cheena Vala) introduced by Chinese traders in the 14th century, the historic St. Francis Church (India's oldest European church where Vasco da Gama was originally buried), the Santa Cruz Basilica, and Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) with its exquisite murals depicting Hindu epics. Walk through Jew Town and the 16th-century Paradesi Synagogue. Evening Kathakali dance performance with explanation of the elaborate makeup and storytelling. Overnight in Cochin.
Cochin to Munnar
Scenic 4-hour drive to Munnar passing through spice plantations of cardamom, pepper, and vanilla. Stop at Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check into your hotel and enjoy the cool mountain air. Evening walk through a tea plantation. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar Sightseeing
Full day exploring Munnar: Tata Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and Eravikulam National Park with endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Enjoy panoramic views from Top Station. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar to Thekkady
Drive to Thekkady (approximately 3.5 hours), home to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Tiger Reserve. Afternoon boat safari on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, bison, sambar deer, and if lucky, tigers. Evening: traditional Kalaripayattu martial arts performance. Overnight in Thekkady.
Thekkady to Alleppey — Houseboat
Morning spice plantation walk learning about cardamom, pepper, nutmeg, and vanilla cultivation. Drive to Alleppey (approximately 4 hours) and board your private traditional Kettuvallam houseboat. Cruise through the famous Kerala backwaters enjoying authentic onboard meals. Overnight on houseboat.
Alleppey to Kovalam
Disembark after breakfast and drive to Kovalam (approximately 4 hours). Afternoon on Lighthouse Beach. Optional Ayurvedic massage session. Overnight in Kovalam.
Kovalam — Departure
Morning at leisure on the beach. Transfer to Trivandrum International Airport for onward journey.
