Bangalore to Mysore
Morning pickup from Bangalore. Drive to Mysore (approximately 3.5 hours) via Srirangapatna, the former capital of Tipu Sultan with historical sites like Ranganathaswamy Temple and Tipu's Summer Palace. Arrive in Mysore and visit the magnificent Mysore Palace (Amba Vilas) — one of India's most spectacular royal residences built in Indo-Saracenic style with stunning stained glass ceilings, intricate wood carvings, and lavish interiors. Visit Chamundi Hills with the Chamundeshwari Temple and the iconic Nandi bull statue. Evening witness the Palace illumination (on Sundays and festival days) when 97,000 bulbs light up the palace. Overnight in Mysore.
Mysore to Coorg
Morning visit Brindavan Gardens at KRS Dam, famous for its musical fountain. Drive to Coorg/Madikeri (approximately 3 hours), the coffee capital of India nestled in the Western Ghats. Check into a coffee plantation resort. Afternoon visit Abbey Falls surrounded by coffee estates and spice plantations, Raja's Seat for panoramic sunset views over the valley, and Madikeri Fort. Overnight in Coorg.
Coorg — Return to Bangalore
Morning visit Dubare Elephant Camp to interact with trained elephants — feed and bathe them in the Kaveri River. Visit a coffee plantation with guided tour explaining cultivation and roasting. Taste fresh plantation coffee. Drive back to Bangalore (approximately 5 hours) for drop-off.
